thanksgiving {part 2}

After a rather non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Wednseday (in pajamas, no less), we drove up to my parents house on Thursday to have a turkey dinner with extended family.  It was a gorgeous day, in every sense–beautiful glittery drive by the snowy seashore, delicious food that tasted just like Thanksgivings when I was a kid, and lots of laughter from everyone all afternoon.  Natalie got to pal around with her great-grandmother and give high-fives to her heart’s content.  It was a good day.
